Alluvium and other North Dakota folk songs

Tom Brosseau’s new album explores the local, from Alluvium the wild stallion that was booted out of Theodore Roosevelt National Park on account of bad behavior to a western North Dakota balloon rally to the recent passing of one of his native town’s greatest mayors, Pat Owens. Backed up on serval tracks by musician Heidi Gluck, and skillfully mixed and mastered by Robbie Robinson, Alluvium guarantees a pleasant listening experience with a few lyrical turns that ought to bring a smile. Album cover by Mikki Itzigsohn. Release date: Feb. ‘25.
