Tom Brosseau In The Shadow Of The Hill tour

Tom is soon to embark on a tour of the west coast, the album release tour of In The Shadow Of The Hill: Songs from the Carter Family catalogue, Vol. 1. First stop is Ojai, Calif. for the Tierra Sol Festival on September 14th, then to Santa Monica, Calif. at The Sanctuary on September 20th, and from there one lovely town after another for a month. An outtake from Vol. 1., “Why There’s A Tear In My Eye” was written by A.P. Carter and originally recorded for Victor Records in Louisville, Kentucky on June 10, 1931. It was produced and recorded by Sean Watkins in Los Angeles, a duet with Tom Brosseau and Dominique Arciero.
